The University of Miami have been observing near-surface currents over the Southeast Florida shelf every 10 minutes since June 2004 using two WERA radars. On September 25, 2004, the eye of Hurricane Jeanne passed 200km to the north of the measurement domain. Seaview Sensing have processed data from a subset of the domain for September 24th and 25th 2004 and these can be viewed here.
